Refund & Return Policy

At WebStudioLabs, operated by Rishi Koushal, we stand behind the quality of our code and development services. Because our marketplace products are intangible, downloadable digital goods (software source codes, website templates, and pre-packaged scripts), we maintain a clear policy regarding refunds and returns.
Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any digital product or hiring us for custom development services.
1. No-Refund Policy for Digital Downloads
Because digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be physically "returned" or "de-activated" once accessed, all sales of ready-to-deploy products, source codes, and templates on our Marketplace are final.
Except as outlined in Section 2 below, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges after payment has been completed and the download link or file delivery has occurred.
2. Exceptions & Refund Conditions
We believe in fairness and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. We will review and process refund requests under the following specific circumstances:
Non-Delivery of Product
If you complete a purchase but do not receive the download link or files due to an email delivery issue, server error, or technical glitch, and we are unable to manually deliver the files to you within forty-eight (48) hours of your contact, we will issue a full refund.
Major Technical Defects
All scripts and templates are tested to ensure they run as demonstrated in our live demos. However, if the code you purchased contains a major technical bug or functional error that makes it unusable, you must contact us with a detailed bug report. We will issue a refund only if:
- The technical bug is in our original code and not caused by your modifications, third-party integrations, or incompatible server/hosting environments.
- You provide us with the necessary server logs, error descriptions, or temporary FTP/hosting access so we can inspect and troubleshoot the issue.
- We are unable to patch or resolve the bug within seven (7) business days of receiving your detailed report and server access.
Product Mismatch
If the delivered source code is completely different from the description and functionality demonstrated in the official product listing or live demo, you may request a refund within seven (7) days of delivery.
3. Ineligibility for Refunds
We cannot issue refunds for reasons including, but not limited to:
- "I changed my mind" or "I decided not to use this project."
- You do not have the technical skills (e.g., basic knowledge of PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel, or Android Studio) required to configure, deploy, or customize the code.
- The product is incompatible with your selected hosting provider, provided your server does not meet the standard PHP/database system requirements listed on our site.
- You purchased the script, downloaded it, and then requested custom features which were not advertised in the original product description.
4. Custom Development & Freelance Milestones
For custom software engineering, Android development, or web development services contracted directly with Rishi Koushal:
- Payments are structured in milestones (e.g. advance deposit, progress payments, final payment).
- Advance deposits and milestone payments are non-refundable once work on that specific milestone has commenced.
- If a custom project is cancelled by the client mid-development, the client is responsible for paying for all hours worked up to the cancellation date, and no refunds will be issued for completed milestones.
5. How to Request a Refund
